Warranty: By completing and submitting an application for funding via this Portal ("Application"), you represent and warrant that you have the legal capacity or necessary consent to complete the Application and, in so doing, give the necessary consent, warranties and undertaking to the Public Investment Corporation SOC Limited ("PIC" or “we” or “us”). You also represent and warrant that you are authorised to act on behalf of the legal entity on whose behalf you are submitting the Application and you are in possession of documentary proof of such authority and that you shall make same available to the PIC upon request. You further warrant that all documentation and information submitted in support of the Application shall, to the best of your knowledge, be true and correct.

Undertaking: You hereby undertake that for the duration of the PIC's consideration of your Application, you will notify the PIC of any relevant updates or changes made to the documentation and/or information submitted to the PIC in support of your Application.

Consent: In order for the PIC to consider the Application, it will be necessary for the PIC to process certain information which you share with the PIC, including personal information - which may include special personal information, of yourself, the legal entity you represent, its directors, shareholders and employees and any related legal entities, trusts and partnerships, as the case may be (all being "Information"). You should familiarise yourself with what the terms "process", "personal information" and "special personal information" mean, as these terms are defined in the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013. You should further be aware that the PIC will process the Information as required to consider and evaluate your Application and this includes (but is not limited to) collection, retention, use, storage or distribution of the Information (or the Information of the legal entity you represent), as well as using such Information to create a file in your name (or in the name of the legal entity you represent). The PIC will process the Information in accordance with the PIC Privacy Policy available here (www.pic.gov.za).

By clicking "Agree and Submit" below, you voluntarily agree, consent to, and give PIC permission to process the Information for the purposes of evaluating your Application, including to confirm and verify any information provided by you in the Application Form and carry out any relevant background checks (including the Financial Intelligence Centre Act 38 of 2001 (FICA) Know-Your-Client (KYC) verification and background checks). You agree that the Information may be disclosed by the PIC to third parties, including PIC's affiliates, service providers and associates (some of which may be located outside of the Republic of South Africa). You understand that you are free to withdraw your consent on written notice to PIC addressed to the Information Officer, email address Information.Office@pic.gov.za. Please note that if you withdraw your consent at any stage, we may be unable to process the Application or continue to retain your and the Applicant’s details on our database.
